About UMOM New Day Centers
As Arizona’s largest provider of services for families experiencing homelessness, UMOM exists to end family homelessness by restoring hope and rebuilding lives. Founded 60 years ago in 1964, UMOM is a community provider of emergency shelter, job training, and affordable housing.
At UMOM, our programs are built around a simple formula: Jobs + Housing = Ending Homelessness. We work hand in hand with each person we serve to solve that formula alongside them, recognizing that each situation requires a personal touch and listening ear. Our unique approach is empathetic and individualized to ensure long-term success.
UMOM offers a full slate of vital services, rooted in a foundation of trust and proactive support. We create healing spaces that ensure dignity and respect for all our families, so that together we can work towards ending family homelessness by restoring hope and rebuilding lives, so no child will ever have to sleep on the streets.
Tax Credit Donations
When you donate to UMOM, a 501(c)(3) organization, you help prevent and end homelessness while generating a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your state income tax! Meaning, a reduction in the state income taxes you owe. Single filers can give up to $495 and joint filers can give up to $987.
In-Kind Donations
